Encouraging, integrative CBT, CFT, ACT and EMDR supervision.

CFT, ACT, IFS and EMDR therapy for therapists and health professionals too.

As peers, we’re in this together

I want you to feel safe and easeful when bringing both professional and personal complexities to a compassionate and inspiring space.

I’ll meet you with my humanity and 22 years’ supervision experience to bring out the best in you, your clients, practice and career.

Having worked in mental health for over 30 years, and have had my own “spicy life”, rest assured that whatever you’re unsure or concerned about, I’m likely to get it.

With genuineness and collaborative guidance, I’m here to help, whether you choose supervision or therapy with me - or some personal development coaching as a mid point in between.

ENJOYABLE AND STEADYING TEAMWORK

Support that feels good

We’ve all had well-meaning input that’s felt a bit disheartening. That’s not what I want for you.

I’m passionate about providing the kind of supervision, coaching and therapy that’s brought out the best in me: warmly authentic and practically grounded, with a kind-hearted chuckle to lighten the mental load!

No matter how complicated the scenario is that you bring, we’ll find a stabilising way forward TOGETHER as a team.

I’ll offer fresh ideas whilst helping you to deepen confidence in your own discernment - I know you’ll have plenty, but you might need me to reinforce it.

You’ll never feel like you’re floundering without sensible guidance OR that your own intuition has been sidelined.

22 YEARS PROVIDING SUPERVISION

Years of integrative and creative thinking!

Since 2003, it’s been a great experience to supervise mental health practitioners, therapists, psychologists, coaches and trainees from a wide range of backgrounds and practice perspectives.

I hold a Diploma in Coaching and Supervising. I hone the supervision experience through skills workshops and genuinely relish feedback from my supervisees.

I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Adults in the Lifelong Learning Sector, where I’ve enjoyed teaching CBT and Occupational Therapy in experiential ways.

I like injecting creativity and playfulness into learning experiences that are embodied and positively memorable. Helping you feel inspired and uplifted really matters to me.

30 YEARS MENTAL HEALTH EXPERIENCE

I’VE GOT THE VINTAGE SHIRT!

Yep, I know, I look too young to have 30 years’ therapist experience, but it’s a vocation I’ve always been passionate about. I’m enthusiastic to help you keep your vim and vigor too.

From 1996 to 2009, I provided holistic therapy in hospital, forensic, day-patient and outpatient services. I’ve case managed and headed up teams for people with high-risk and complex needs. I’ve volunteered abroad in trauma recovery. You can rely on me to be a dependable presence even when you feel like throwing in the towel.

For the past 17 years, I’ve run a successful private practice, where clients show up on time, pay well and are committed to growth. I’d love to help you get to this healthy place.

Feel free to excavate my knowledge to get the biggest gems! I want you to feel ever more confident when addressing your own clients’ needs.

MENTORING AND MINDFULNESS

From negativity bias to uplifting balance

You may be aware of the critique that therapy can reinforce the brain’s negativity bias through an over-focus on problems. Not on my watch!

I hope to role model how we can create balance, by reflecting on your mini wins, lightbulb moments, and unexpected successes. This builds confidence, nervous system regulation and deepens your skills.

In this way, we’ll enjoy the arty science of positive reinforcement, benefitting you and your clients.

You’ll see how much more fulfilling and effective your work becomes!

MENTORING. THERAPY. COACHING. HERE FOR YOU.

Let’s address your own needs too

I respect the courage it takes to be honest about the professional and personal realities which face us all.

If you’re struggling with impostor syndrome, perfectionism, burnout, boundaries or identity crisis I’ve been there and emerged the other side - with far more to offer having been on that journey myself.

You may have a clear sense already, or we can think through together whether supervision, coaching or therapy with me would be the best fit for your needs.

Whatever you decide, we can work with any model you choose, always with clarity and care.

I feel honoured to say that I’ve been a therapist for many dedicated fellow therapists, healthcare workers and medics over the years.

I’ll create a really nourishing space where you can work through your own stressors, while deepening your embodied self compassion, courage, confidence. There’ll be many pearls of wisdom you’ll be able to pass on to others, all the richer for it!

Being the best they can be

  • “Eleanor was my supervisor while completing my coaching accreditation. Working with her has been a real pleasure. She immediately struck me as open and unbiased, which allowed me to be completely honest with her. Her experience helped me identify areas for improvement in my coaching practice, while also helping me feel more confident in the coaching process and in choosing a direction when feeling stuck with coachees. Our work together also gave me valuable new perspectives that supported me both professionally and personally.”

    G.S Accredited Coach

  • “I have found my supervision sessions with Eleanor to be a very warm, safe and supportive space, I have felt able to share my personal and clinical experiences knowing that her guidance will help me gain a deeper understanding and lead to growth. Thank you Eleanor!”

E.R Psychologist, EMDR and CFT therapist

  • “Eleanor and I meet for peer supervision and have embraced a ‘walk and talk’ format. Being out in nature and moving brings a depth to our discussions that has been consistently nourishing and enlightening. Eleanor brings a warm curiosity and, alongside her wealth of experience and skills, is always able to drew out added depth and learning which I value immensely. I’m incredibly grateful for the supervision space we’ve created.”

M.G.R EMDR, ACT, CFT and CBT therapist

  • “Eleanor is a highly skilled therapist and has a wonderful warmth, clarity of mind, and attentive presence. She is passionate about her work and the capacity for people to growth and flourish.”

    J.H. Gestalt Psychotherapist and Coach

  • “Eleanor has been my supervisor for two years and I have benefited greatly from our work together. I have valued her warmth, enthusiasm, creativity and frankness. She has given me a greater depth of insight and confidence in working with clients...”

B.A. Integrative Psychotherapist, Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist

  • “Eleanor isn't merely highly knowledgeable and in possession of an impressively well stocked tool box of skills. What I witnessed in Eleanor was a determination to engage and mindfully offer herself to our teamwork, as much as she encouraged me to do the same. Here was someone who was willing to draw on a life time of experience in service to helping me and my clients develop holistically, empathically and deeply"

Ed – Mindfulness Trainer and Thought Coach

  • “It’s easy to fall into the trap of not practicing what we preach, or trying, on the other hand to be the perfect therapist. Eleanor has helped me develop the courage to bring all of me into the therapeutic melting pot and my clinical practice has flourished as a consequence. I’m getting much greater client satisfaction and many more word of mouth referrals these days.”

T.W Addictions Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

  • "Eleanor has remained an important part of my professional and personal journey for almost two decades. Throughout that time, she has been a constant source of support, encouragement, wisdom, and good humour. Eleanor combines exceptional clinical knowledge with warmth, humanity, and authenticity. She truly lives the principles she teaches and inspires others to do the same. I feel incredibly fortunate to continue learning from her and would recommend her wholeheartedly."
